Forget about a draw at the table: there is always a winner.
The Rule That Changes the Game
Why is Texas Walter Different?
TEXAS WALTER POKER shares the same gameplay (personal cards, flop, turn, river) and point combinations as Texas Hold’em Poker. However, one rule revolutionises the strategy:
You must use both personal cards.
To make the best possible hand, you must use both of your pocket cards, combining them with exactly three of the five community cards on the table.
More Action, Less Certainty

No splitting at the table.
Thanks to the two mandatory card rule, there are no SPLITS (ties) at the table in P.T. Walter, with one specific exception.
This ensures that there will always be a winner at the showdown, increasing the action and determination.
Full House Decisive on Poker at the Table.
If a Poker (four of a kind) is achieved at the table, the winning hand is determined by the pair that achieves the highest Full House in combination with the cards on the table, not by the player’s highest card as in classic Hold’em.

Focus on Connectors and Pairs
The possibility of making straights, flushes and royal flushes depends entirely on the nature of your hole cards (they must be connected or of the same suit), making the pre-flop choice even more strategic.
